Reflecting on external research
At first locating the information for the external research was rather difficult. I didn't know what keywords to use and I didn't know what I was exactly looking for. I was rather lost, so I referenced the Library Guide. This pointed me in the right direction and before I knew it I had too many sources and I needed to trim them down. They proper keyword is what made the difference for me. I started with "technology" and far too many sources were found. I then narrowed the seach by category and fine tuned the search about 5 times. This is where I found the good stuff. The annotations were very helpful for two reasons. First, because the bibliography is already done- just copy and paste! And second, the quotes from the source reminded me what the authors point and attidude was. I really ran into no issues with the external research. I could pick the sources that I had an interest in and could build off them. One thing I am going to change is the amount of information and citations in my assignemtn #19. It needs to be a little more developed. I just had writers block all week and was frustrated the entire time.
